EVEN THOUGH the election is over, I know this statement is still true and I encourage deputies to still contact me with issues.
A message for Beaufort County deputies :
I know from experience that you are being bombarded with propaganda from Jordan and his minions, do not believe it.
If you are approached with the notion that your job is at stake based on the outcome of this election - you can sleep well knowing that it is a lie. Jordan has spread this rumor every election year to gain support through fear.
Your jobs and positions at BCSO are safe. I understand that the working conditions and micro-management has tarnished your view of working for the county, I can assure you - this will change.
I will, once elected, remove many of the obstacles that have hindered performance in your jobs, I have no doubt that job satisfaction will improve greatly, as well as the citizens opinion of the BCSO.

Counties surrounding us are reducing their crime rates while Beaufort County goes up yearly! "Dixon" group making calls from the PittGOP Headquarters to Beaufort County for Sen. Richard Burr and Donald Dixon. No - Mr. Dixon WAS NOT singing. But he does take every opportunity to say a few words and ask for votes. If you've not heard him, give him a call! Un-named hooligan in OUR county after a high speed, careless and reckless ride through Keysville - sadly, some cops have the job just to hide in "plain sight".

As Sheriff of Beaufort County, I will reduce crime by putting more deputies on the road and in the county. I CAN accomplish this WITHOUT additional money from the county by eliminating wasteful spending in that office.
Reducing crime in OUR county and improving the quality of life for our families will be the number one goal.

I received an anonymous complaint about using this picture on my website. The person said I was shameful for posting such a thing and for calling him a hooligan!
I am in no way disrespecting the Sheriff; that is not my intent. The man in this picture just broke several laws and nearly caused an accident. This person did this knowingly and willingly, without regard to the safety of others.
The fact that it IS the Sheriff should raise the interest of those who believe that we ALL must abide by the same laws.
