My name is George Donald Dixon, Jr.
I have always lived in Beaufort County and cannot imagine living anywhere else. This is where I attended school, worked and raised my daughters.
I have been a volunteer in the community on several levels and started my law enforcement career here at the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office. I wrote the Critical Incident Plan for the Beaufort County School system in 2003 and have taken part in training through (US Dept. of Justice) Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) in regards to critical incident management (2008).
